SignalDojo 1.2.6 is free software distributed under the GNU General Public License version 3 or, at your option, any later version (GPL-3.0-or-later).
1. Your core rights
Subject to the licence, you may run SignalDojo for any purpose, inspect and study its source code, make copies, modify it and redistribute original or modified versions. No payment, product key, account or acceptance of an end-user licence agreement is required merely to receive or run the application.
2. Controlling licence terms
This page is a practical summary, not a replacement for the licence. The complete GNU GPL version 3 text controls. If this summary and the GPL differ, the GPL prevails.
The notation “GPL-3.0-or-later” means that you may use version 3 of the GNU GPL or, at your option, any later version published by the Free Software Foundation.
3. When you distribute SignalDojo
The precise obligations depend on how you distribute the program. In general, distribution of covered source, binaries or modified versions requires you to:
- preserve appropriate copyright, licence and warranty notices;
- provide recipients with a copy of the GPL;
- state significant changes you made;
- license covered modified works under GPL-compatible terms required by the GPL; and
- make the complete corresponding source available to recipients of covered object code in one of the ways the GPL permits.

4. Source code and official release
The designated public source repository is github.com/TiagoACN/SignalDojo. The official SignalDojo 1.2.6 Windows installer is published through the project’s v1.2.6 release page.
Recipients should use the source and notices associated with the exact release they received. Development branches may contain later changes and are not necessarily the corresponding source for an earlier binary.
5. Third-party components
SignalDojo bundles or interacts with third-party libraries, frameworks and file-format components. Those components remain subject to their respective copyright notices and licences. Their inclusion does not relicense third-party work beyond the terms selected by its copyright holders. The application distribution and repository should retain the applicable third-party notices.
6. Warranty and liability
SignalDojo is distributed in the hope that it will be useful, but without warranty of any kind to the extent stated in the GPL and permitted by law. Engineering results should be independently validated before they are used for safety-critical, regulated, production or financial decisions. The controlling warranty disclaimer and liability terms are in sections 15 through 17 of the GPL.
7. Website source and content
The source code used to build signaldojo.org is separately released under the MIT License included in the website source package. That website licence does not change the GPL licence for the SignalDojo desktop application. Screenshots, names, logos and written content may also involve copyright or trademark rights not granted merely by the MIT licence.
8. Project marks
The application licence and project identity are separate. The SignalDojo trademark policy explains how the name, logo and icon identify official releases while allowing accurate references to forks and compatible software. It does not reduce the permissions granted by the GPL.
